Change in technical B2B: stabilise, move and accelerate with AI

Stabilisation is necessary, but insufficient. I connect proven leadership with new markets, ideas and AI-enabled speed.

Key point

My mandate does not end when a business runs quietly again. I increase its capacity for movement: recognise change earlier, decide faster, open new markets and integrate technology sensibly into daily work. AI is not the only topic, but it is an exceptional speed multiplier.

When a business needs more than stabilisation

  • Daily operations work, but new market opportunities move too slowly into decisions.
  • Knowledge sits in individual heads, inboxes and documents rather than being available to the organisation.
  • Strategy programmes create concepts without changing customer conversations or daily priorities.
  • AI is discussed or tested but remains separate from sales, leadership and operations.
  • The organisation protects today's business so strongly that it fails to build its next source of value.
01

Stability is not an end state

A business under pressure first needs clarity, cash awareness, dependable decisions and an operating cadence that works. This traditional leadership is essential. It becomes dangerous when stabilisation turns into the only objective and every new idea is treated as another risk.

I use stability as the foundation for movement. Once critical risks are manageable, I focus on customer value, new applications, adjacent markets and the organisation's ability to learn faster. This creates more than short-term relief; it creates a new direction of development.

02

My strength is connection

Technical B2B businesses often hold more future potential than their current offer suggests. Expertise, customer relationships, project experience and asset knowledge exist but are viewed in separate functions. I connect these elements with emerging market needs and turn them into practical commercial options.

Movement means turning an observation rapidly into a testable hypothesis, the hypothesis into an offer and the offer into real market work. Sales, engineering and operations build one shared picture early rather than working in sequence.

  • Connect existing capability with new customer problems
  • Translate market signals into concrete options early
  • Test several approaches in parallel and focus quickly
  • Move decisions directly into accountable execution
03

AI enables a different speed – especially in legacy systems

In established organisations, lack of knowledge is rarely the main issue. Knowledge is fragmented, difficult to access and combined too slowly. Used well, AI can create a 10x difference: structure large amounts of information, expose relationships, test scenarios in parallel and industrialise recurring knowledge work.

I do not treat 10x as a marketing promise for every result. It is a design principle. Why should market analysis take weeks if a prepared system can classify new signals daily? Why should leaders search manually when a reliable process can prepare the decisions they need to make?

The boundary remains clear. AI provides structure, options and speed. People validate, decide, explain and remain accountable. Data protection, source quality and access rights therefore belong in the process from the beginning.

04

Movement must become an organisational capability

A fast interim executive alone does not create a movable business. I build roles, routines and capabilities so market learning and change continue after handover: a clear decision cadence, accessible knowledge, cross-functional teams and leaders who allow the new without sacrificing operational reliability.

My aim is not a company chasing fashion. It is a company that remains capable of movement under high technical complexity because it can connect experience with new possibilities and act faster than others.

Questions for owners, boards and management

Three questions that expose future-readiness

  1. 01Which existing capability could solve a relevant customer problem in a new market?
  2. 02Which decision takes weeks today although AI-supported preparation could make it decidable in days?
  3. 03Which capability must remain after the interim mandate so movement does not stop again?
